Afternoon Tea Menu Planning

October 18th is the date of the Berea Health Ministry fund raiser tea I'm helping with. The committee met last night and it appears we may have 200 guests! The menu is planned after searching through my many tea recipe books. I enjoy collecting recipe books from tea rooms we visit. Some of those books are displayed in a basket in my dining room. I long ago ran out of shelf space for my many recipe books!

What can you tell me about the pink Pleasures and Treasures of Taking Tea book that is in your basket? I haven't seen that one before. Good Luck with the fund raiser tea! 200 - wow!

It's going to be superb if YOU are helping with it! With regard to food for 200, I just have one comment to make: keep it simple!!

I hope you have lots of help for food preparation and serving. Take lots of pictures and I can't wait to hear all about it.

Room for recipe books, what's that? I have run out of room too, but still can't resist new books. Do you think it is adictive?

Nancy,
The book is the Pleasures and Treasures of Taking Tea at Miss Mable's Tea Room. Miss Mable's is in Dickson, TN west of Nashville. There are 12 sections, one for each month with different menus and recipes for each.
