Gathering Teapots

These are some of the teapots I have been gathering over the last few weeks at flea markets, Home Goods and other places to use for the Berea Health Ministry fund raiser tea scheduled for October 18th.
My friend, Mary, called me while traveling in Virginia to tell me she found four teapots like the one in the top photo for only $5.49 each. Another time she called me from a consignment shop about the cobalt blue one. Did I want them? You bet! I need 50+ teapots for this event.
If you are a regular reader of this blog, you know I have more than 50 teapots in my collection. But, several of those are "too special" to pack up and transport back and forth. Therefore, I've been on a search of inexpensive and sturdy teapots to supplement the ones I'm loaning from my collection.
OK, I convinced myself this is a good reason to acquire more teapots. Don't you agree?!?
In my opinion, tea lover can never have too many teapots!

ANY reason to buy a new tea pot is a GOOD reason!

They are all beautiful, Linda! At the St. Stephen Tea, our table hostesses provided their own teapots. This way, if they didn't have 2-3 teapots for their table, they could borrow or go on a hunt themselves for them! Either way, teapot shopping is fun!! I can't wait to hear all about the tea once it's over!

I love them ALL! I agree some are too precious to pack up for the event! :-)

Totally agree with your justification for the new teapots. I mean, hey, I don't take my finest chintz to the office! We have to have several "expendable" teapots in our collection. (To say nothing of the Higher Purpose to which your newest teapots have been called!)
