Welcome to Friendship Tea, a blog about the daily happenings in the life of Linda, a tea enthusiast, who enjoys travel and trip planning, and is passionate about family, friends, life in Kentucky, and all things TEA.
My birthday celebration began yesterday evening with 5 "old" high school girlfriends, P, T, J, K, and me going to Outback for dinner. We had a great time visiting and catching up since our last outing. This morning Mary invited me to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and this evening GJ and AJ took me to Red Lobster for dinner. Another friend called to invite me to lunch on Thursday and daughter, Melissa, has arranged afternoon tea in Cincinnati on Saturday. One thing about it, I am being well fed during this birthday celebration! I love it!!!
A special thank you to my friends and family for the cards, tea gifts and ecards! I received many nice comments in the cards and from the girlfriends about this blog and I really appreciate everyone who visits here!
When the world is all at odds And the mind is all at sea Then cease the useless tedium And brew a cup of tea. There is magic in its' fragrance, There is solace in its' taste; And then laden moments vanish Somehow into space. And the world becomes a lovely thing! There's beauty as you'll see; All because you briefly stopped To brew a cup of tea. ~ Source unknown
