Welcome to Friendship Tea, a blog about the daily happenings in the life of Linda, a tea enthusiast, who enjoys travel and trip planning, and is passionate about family, friends, life in Kentucky, and all things TEA.
The corner basket in the top two photos sits on my kitchen counter with the three tins of tea I am currently drinking, Mayor's Cup (hot), Apricot (iced) and Lemon Rooibos (hot and iced) from Elmwood Inn Fine Teas. The basket also holds a tea timer and a 1 cup measuring spoon. The shelf in the bottom photo is where I store a variety of teas. These teas were purchased online, at various tea rooms and during travels. In addition, some were gifts from friends. This is not the most organized way to store my tea, but it works for now. Perhaps one of these days I will get a new kitchen with lots of custom-designed tea storage space.... A tea lady is allowed to dream isn't she?!?

A Cup of Tea
When the world is all at odds And the mind is all at sea Then cease the useless tedium And brew a cup of tea. There is magic in its' fragrance, There is solace in its' taste; And then laden moments vanish Somehow into space. And the world becomes a lovely thing! There's beauty as you'll see; All because you briefly stopped To brew a cup of tea. ~ Source unknown
