Tea Table Theme: Queen's Golden Jubilee Tea

Tea Time with the Berea Health Ministry was a successful fundraiser and a fun event today. There were 22 hosted tables decorated to a theme of the hostesses choice. My theme was planned around my Royal Worcerster Francesca china purchased at the factory in 1998 and the Golden Jubilee teapot I purchased in Stratford in 2002 during the official celebration. My guests above are having fun with their tiaras and the "queen's wave." My duties included being the guest speaker. My topic was "Take Time for Tea."
During our visits to Balmoral and Windsor this summer, I noticed the dining tables were decorated with a lot of gold so I incorporated gold into my table.
The crown napkin rings represented the queen's crown jewels. A teatime calendar and a cell phone charm were gifts to my guests. My daughter, Melissa, made the cell phone charms with beads to match my color scheme and with a crown charm. They are difficult to see in the photos, but they are tied to the clear bag with a gold ribbon.
My Golden Jubilee Teapot in the bottom photo sat on a gold pedestal and was surrounded by photos of the queen in jeweled gold frames.
I will share photos of the other tables and the menu soon!
