Tea Time with the Berea Health Ministry - a table-hosted tea with the tables decorated to the theme of the hostesses choice.
This is my daughter Melissa's table. She used the china given to her by Aunt Mary (my aunt and her great aunt). Aunt Mary was a retired school teacher who loved her flower garden and enjoyed crafting, including beading. Melissa incorporated her own beading into her table by "bead wrapping" the stems of her water glasses, lemon fork and sugar tongs and she attached beads to the small place card photo frames. Melissa presented her table guests with the same teatime magnetic calendar I gave in a clear cellophane bag and a pearl beaded cell phone charm with a silver rose charm at the end. See her beading here. Click on Melissa's blog to see more of her photos including table guests here.
Melissa's table and my table were not in the winning table contest. Melissa was one of the table judges. Melissa, thank you for driving 2 hours here and 2 hours back home to come for the day to help!!!
My friend Patty made the name signs hanging over the chairs to identify each table theme. Special thank you to Eve for that idea!
