This table "Tumbling Into Fall with Tatar Knob Pottery" was sponsored and hosted by my 83 year old neighbor, Joyce. She borrowed pottery from a local potter and friend, Sarah Culbreth at Tater Knob Pottery to create a unique table scape. She used her tumbling scarecrows in the center piece as the focus of her theme. We did not allow burning candles so she used a battery tea light in the centerpiece to illuminate it. The light is not on in these photos but it really added to the look when it was.
I like the way she scattered candy corn around the table to carry out the theme.
The little organza bag of Hershey Kisses was a favor provided to all the guests. It included a thank you note for supporting the Berea Health Ministry Clinic.
A special thank you to Joyce, on the right, for supporting this event (and me).
