"Breast Cancer Awareness" was sponsored by Lakes Funeral Home and decorated in pinks by Janel. As you can see, the family dressed in pink in honor of the month of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The center piece has pink ceramic birds of paradise on it (difficult to see in the photos). Janel provided gift bags for her family member guests. the contents are items with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Fund. The little girls had a wonderful time at tea!
Nancy L. used fall colors and "Old British Castles" dishes collected by her husband over the past 30 years along with an heirloom family teapot and glasses to decorate "A Fall Tea." She says "Fall's brilliant colors lend accents to the china and glassware."
This table was sponsored by Barbara S., member of the Berea Health Ministry board of trustees.
When the world is all at odds And the mind is all at sea Then cease the useless tedium And brew a cup of tea. There is magic in its' fragrance, There is solace in its' taste; And then laden moments vanish Somehow into space. And the world becomes a lovely thing! There's beauty as you'll see; All because you briefly stopped To brew a cup of tea. ~ Source unknown
