The Clean-Up Begins

Although the temperature reached 60 degrees today, there is still 1 to 2 inches of ice on our neighbor's yard where they did not get sunshine.

The sun melted most of the ice in our yard so that we could see the damage. We lost several trees, but can't complain. We were warm and safe in our home.

So glad you are safe and warm. Sure hate the lost of so many trees and limbs. But not sad to see the ice go.

I am glad that the ice is going away and you are safe. But, what a mess to clean up. Don't over do it.

Oh, wow - we got the snow part but not the ice. The damage to the trees is overwhelming! I'm glad you were all safe and warm.

At first I was disappointed we *won't* be getting an ice or snow storm tonight after all, but reading your posts has made me grateful for Georgia's pretty ordinary weather. And your tips on getting through the storm have been wonderful! (Although I was sad to hear about the loss of tea party food, yikes!)

Wow, I just now am beginning to see all the work that needs doing to clean up around Kentucky...
I'm glad you were safe and warm, and had plenty of tea...
