Our 84 year old neighbor, Mrs. H, brought homemade ginger snaps over today as a surprise Valentine treat. She is one of the neighbors we helped during the ice storm two weeks ago. GJ was in her backyard today cutting broken trees and limbs with his chainsaw (new toy) while AJ and a couple of friends were having a blast playing in the woods and in the creek behind her house.
Thanks for thinking of us with the cookies Mrs. H!

Hi! Linda
I see your blog on the 'links to this blog' thing although I don't see a comment from you.
I have yet to figure out this links feature and the purpose of it as I have never used it myself. I had thought it would take me to your blog but I see it only take me to one post. The ginger cookies look delicious though.
What a sweet neighbor lady. It's so special to have neighbors like that; ones who give and take with happy hearts. I am sure she loves having your family next door!

neighbors helping neighbors, that's what it is all about.
Those gingersnaps look so yummy.
How sweet is that?! I love it! What a wonderful memory you've both created!
I like the little red hart in the center.
