Monday Tea Memories — Tea Palace, London

It is Monday and I would love to have a nice afternoon tea. I don't have time today so instead I will enjoy teatime memories.....
In March 2007, I traveled with Denise at Uniquely Tea on her Tea in London Tour. There were eleven ladies participating and we had a delightful time with many wonderful tea memories. The photos above were taken at the Tea Palace in Notting Hill on the first day of our trip. After traveling overnight and sightseeing through the day, we were so ready for the afternoon tea experience! We enjoyed different pots of tea and shopped like crazy in the gift shop. Wonderful memories.....
The big news is -- the Tea Palace is moving to Central London in April. Hmmm, I think that calls for a trip across the pond to check out the new location! Does anyone want to go?

Oh, if only I could go! Sounds like you had a wonderful trip in 2007. The tea tray looks so good; one of the scones would be great with the tea I'm drinking right now.

Me, too! Wow - that is a wonderful memory! I brought home some tea from there, and I'm out! I need to go back, too. :0)

What a trip. Wish I could add it to my adgenda but alas, hubby comes first. Maybe he and I will have a cup of tea.

Great pictures, the presentation of the desserts are so inviting! I REALLY want that right now! ha ha Thanks for the eye candy!

You're lucky to have a tea house nearby, we've had 2 close down in the last year due to recession. Bummer. Have a great day!

I'm waving my hand here in Michigan saying, "I'll go, I'll go!"

As soon as I saw the top photo, before I read a single word, I knew it was our wonderful tea experience at The Tea Palace.

Your blog prompted me to pull out my photo albums of our memorable trip.

I didn't mean to be anonymous -- I hit "publish your comment" without typing my name first. Duh!
