Old Country Roses

In September, I posted about the bargain Royal Albert Old Country Roses teapot I found for $29.99 at Home Goods. Although it is not made in England I couldn't pass it up at that price. Ever since then, I've had my eye out for a bargain creamer and sugar to go with it. I was browsing Ebay recently and just happened upon this set during the last hour of bidding. I purchased them at a great price. They are made in England so I am very pleased! A little retail therapy can do a lot of good for a gal!

Neat, I have the same creamer but my sugar bowl is different.

Oh wow, Linda! I have never seen that teapot for that price ($49.99 is the lowest I've ever seen it at HomeGoods), so you nabbed the bargain of the year, I think! And like you, it certainly looks like all the others so I wouldn't mind that it's made in India!

I love old country rose tea set you have. I have seen like this at the store somewhere. The price is more expensive than what you bought. You are lucky with a good price.
Keep it up, Linda

My absolute favourite bone china...
I have a service for twelve, and look for bargain pieces to add to it, constantly.
You managed to find a great bargain, and I know it will be loved ;)

I'm an Old Country Roses fan too - have the teapot and one cup/saucer that I just use in a decorative vignette in the master bedroom - can't bear to use them for real tea! LOL You did get a great bargain. Enjoy! Hugs, Sharon
