Springtime Teacup Trio

Today is the first day of spring.

I will proudly display my Crown Staffordshire Springtime Teacup Trio. This set belonged to my mother. I have no idea where she got it, but I do remember she displayed it in a place of honor in her dining room for many years. I admired it long before I knew I would enjoy afternoon tea, collecting English Bone China teacup trios, and travel to England.

Over the past year, I have been able to acquire seven more of these trios at antique malls and on Ebay. I look forward to setting a beautiful spring theme tea table in memory of my mother and her love for this teacup trio and her beautiful flower gardens.

It's so neat how you have special tea things that are family herilooms. Beautiful!

What a treasure. Those things that Mother had and we girls now have bring such precious memories.

That is really pretty china. Isn't it funny they called it Springtime when the flowers are summer ones.

That's a lovely idea to set the tea table with a spring theme. You'll have to show us the pictures. Those ones at Christmas you showed us were magnificent.
