I love to learn new things about tea and teatime. I've taken many tea classes and read much about the tea experience, but just recently learned this from the Tea 2009 Calendar. "Tip the teapot lid askew to signa for more tea." How simple can that be!?!The test will be whether or not the server knows what it means....

Great tip. Beautiful tea set. Is it a Sadler? If so, I have never seen a Sadler with a matching tray.
That's a great idea! I'm afraid that the only tea room in our locale doesn't have servers who would understand such a thing. It's a sad state of affairs, isn't it.
Time to travel to far-away tea rooms!

This was a very popular pattern - Rose Tree Chintz. Years ago it was also called Apple Blossom by another company. Your Royal Patrician is lovely!
