Tea Time With Berea Health Ministry — Apples and School Days

Apples and School Days was hosted by Barbara S., a retired elementary teacher, treasurer of the Berea Health Ministry board of directors and a valuable member of our tea committee. In addition to decorating and hosting this table, Barbara supervised the volunteers in the kitchen on food preparation and plating the food items on clear plastic plates which were placed on top of the plate at each guest's place.
Barbara decorated her table with school books, a framed letter written from a student, a school canister set she used for 28 years on her desk, a globe teapot and apples, because she received many apples as snacks over the years from students.

Love the glass plates. There's a purity aspect there with the transparency, like looking in at the apple of the eye to celebrate a beloved teacher. --Spirituality of Tea

Very clever. I love apples in all forms; so would have definitely gravitated to this table.
