Cheerios and Free "Tea For Ruby" Book

Have you seen the packages of Cheerios with a free book inside?

According to the information on the back of the box, "for the past 8 years, Cheerios has given away more than 40 million books in boxes and donated more than $3.2 million to First Book to help provide new books to kids who don't have books of their own."

There are five different books inside boxes of Cheerios this year. I purchased the box of Cheerios with TEA FOR RUBY by Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. I already have this book, but couldn't resist this small paperback to add to my collection of children's tea books.

Where have I been? I've never seen a book in a box of Cheerios. But, it's a great idea. I will know closer next time I am in the grocer.

I usually buy MultiGrain Cheerios, but I would buy plain if I can get a copy of Tea For Ruby. It looks like it has cute illustrations. Thanks for the tip.

I just might pick up a box of Cheerios for myself. I like the looks of that book and I like the author. My little niece can always use tea gifts.
