AJ enjoyed his first Kentucky thoroughbred racing at
Keeneland in Lexington on a beautiful October day.
We enjoyed a nice buffet lunch then the races. The guys look like they are really serous at betting in the photo below. AJ is way too young to bet, so GJ placed a few $2 bets for him.
Even a 10-year old must dress in a coat and tie to enter the Club House. I was proud of the way he looked and of his behavior.
Kentucky ladies don't wear hats at the Keeneland fall meet, but they certainly do during Kentucky Derby week at Churchill Downs in Louisville.
