Welcome Friends for Iced Tea
The very large living room window has been removed and will be a connecting doorway into the new front addition.
I just realized we will have to put up our Christmas Tree in a different location after 21 years of having it in front of that window. Funny how profound thoughts come at odd times! Surely, the work will be complete by Christmas?!?
Oh my, I need another glass of iced tea from the freshly brewed pitcher of Harney Earl Grey Supreme!

Taste of... Freshly Picked Beans
Unfortunately, I haven't made it yet this spring to the local Farmer's Market held on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. I need to put that on my "to-do" list. Hopefully, I will be able to find my list when I need it!

Book — Tea with a Twist
This 72-page Harvest house Publishers book is about "entertaining and cooking with tea." The lovely phootography is by Lauren Rubinstein. It is not typical of the afternoon tea books we often see, but certainly is a nice addition to my tea book library.

Lost A Bathroom Today...
Thank you to Patsy and other blog friends who have asked how the house renovation is going. Today they cut out the main bathroom to make a hall to connect to the new back section of the house. The door you see in the background is a "back door" in the new laundry room and goes out on a new deck. The back door was in the original plan, but the deck wasn't. *smile* It is one of a few "while the builders are doing this, let's have them do that project" things we added. I'll show a few more of those projects a little later.
Until today most of the dust had remained outside the existing house. The teapots and china have been packed away in preparation for the dust to begin.
Tonight I am "de-cluttering" my office because the window above my computer desk will be removed. It will become a wall. (Drywall dust, yuck!) My computer time might become less frequent over the next several days. I appreciate everyone for hanging in there with me.

Traveling in Western Kentucky
Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley are two very large lakes in Western Kentucky located about 5 hours from our home.
Patti's is much more than an award-winning restaurant. Check it out here. AJ is in the photo above with a loaf of bread baked in a clay flower pot, and served with whipped butter and strawberry butter. You will have to look on their website to see the 2-inch thick pork chops. We were already eating ours before I remembered my camera!
