Welcome to Friendship Tea, a blog about the daily happenings in the life of Linda, a tea enthusiast, who enjoys travel and trip planning, and is passionate about family, friends, life in Kentucky, and all things TEA.
This is a photo from my files of one of the beautiful host-decorated tables at Tea Time With Berea Health Ministry, the 2008 fund raiser tea.
My computer and office furniture are in storage along with most everything in the house. We are living in two bedrooms and the family room downstairs while the work on the house continues.
Last week we traveled to cool temperatures and low humidity in the mountains of North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee to celebrate GJ's birthday, and to be out of the house while the new wood floors were finished and the old ones were refinished. We arrived home to beautiful floors and tons of sanding dust. (not as bad as the drywall dust, however!)
I have photos to share from our trip, but I'm having difficulty accessing them on the computer in AJ's bedroom. So, please bear with me for a few days as GJ promises my computer will be back up and running in a couple of days.
By the way, we did include a visit to a lovely tea room in our travel itinerary.
When the world is all at odds And the mind is all at sea Then cease the useless tedium And brew a cup of tea. There is magic in its' fragrance, There is solace in its' taste; And then laden moments vanish Somehow into space. And the world becomes a lovely thing! There's beauty as you'll see; All because you briefly stopped To brew a cup of tea. ~ Source unknown
