Afternoon Tea at the Pierre Hotel in NYC

Afternoon Tea at the Pierre Hotel
July 2007
Afternoon Tea at that time was served in the Rotunda.
Currently tea is served in the Lobby Lounge

Menu at the link below:

In 2007, when we enjoyed our Pierre Hotel tea experience,
the tea selection was loose leaf Harney and Sons tea.  The teapots
were not set on the guest tables, so we had to wait for the server
to refill our cups.
The set menu was served on a three-tier-server
shown in the photo above.
AJ, who was 8 years old, was very impressed by
the edible gold on the chocolate pastry.

What a lucky, lucky lady you are to have had tea in all of those wonderful tea rooms. I started and ran a tea room here in Vermont for five years (until i started having babies!) Now my sister is the hostess. If you're ever in New England, you should try our scone. It's the best scone in the world - no joke! I'll be giving a tea for the ladies in my church on March 20th. I guess I'm saying that I love tea too.

Now, here's something else wonderful and funny. The lovely yellow clock that is in the background of your title picture is, also, my beloved clock that hangs in my kitchen but, we're not alone. The lady at "Homespun Living" has the very same clock in her kitchen, also. Here's what's exceptionally lovely. I just painted my kitchen (yesterday and today) a very pretty silver, gray blue. The clock is just gaspingly pretty against it. I'll have pictures up in about a week if you'd like to pop on over and see.

Goodness! I've left a hubungous post! I just love tea and clocks. What can I say?

Love, Katy Noelle

As if the last comment wasn't long enough - the family tea room is at . I hope that creates a link for you if you're interested. Also, if you're a clock fanatic like me and wanted to see "Homespun Living", there's a link to it in my list of favorite blogs in my side bar. She has a lovely site!
