Tea For One

I'm not a big fan of "Tea For One" sets, but I really like this one!

First, I love shamrock pattern for the month of March.  Second, it is not the usual huge, clunky "Tea For One" set most of us are familiar with.  This set is made by DJB Ceramics in Staffordshire, England and is fine bone china.  The cup is actually the size of a delicate teacup.  The milk jug and sugar bowl are the perfect size for one serving.  The bottom photo shows the set compared to a normal-sized mug.

Will you join me for a cup of tea in celebration of St. Patrick's Day?

Wow, that IS nice. I'm with you - I don't normally like any of the Tea-For-One sets I see. Too large and too "thick". I will be on the look-out for this. I love anything Irish.

I share your thoughts about *most* tea-for-one sets, and this one sounds like a delightful change! Lovely!

I do not normally like the
"Tea for One" sets. I always get rid of them when they've been given to me for gifts...I have ONE that I just cannot sell or give away because it's from a dear friend amd she gave it to me for my birthday one year. So it sits.
However your shamrock set is very CUTE!
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you...
