Kentucky Derby 2010 — Hats, Horses and Fun!

We had a great day at the Mom's closet Resouce Center fundraiser luncheon at Churchill Downs.
Rhonda and I "won" Beijo Bags at the silent auction.
We thought the red went perfectly with black and white attire.
Lisa is buying a grab bag for $10.  The items in the grab bags were valued $15 to $100.
We each picked a horse for $5 in the third race "split-the-pot" pool.  A lady at our table won.
These MCRC volunteers were selling $20 raffle tickets for this beautiful necklace.

Barbara, Lisa, Lisa's friend, Judy, Mary, Rhonda and I had a super time. Of our group, only Ronda came out ahead on the horse races.  (Yes, there were horse races, too.)

Looks like a fun day out. I enjoyed seeing all your photos. Your red Beijo bag looks great with your black and white outfit. I'd like to try a Kentucky Hot Brown - it looks delicious.

You and your girlfriend look so nice in those fetching outfits! (May I confess to being just a wee bit jealous of this fashionable fun you get to enjoy each year?)
