Patty, Mary, Melissa and I enjoyed a delightful lunch and visit at Historic Boone Tavern Hotel in Berea
Our "official" photographer and lunch companion was my grandson, PJ.
PJ wanted his photo made with Nellie Frost, former first lady of Berea College. Read about why she suggested Berea College build a hotel in the early 1900's.

What a lovely place to have lunch. It is great that students get free tuition, etc. and only have to work 10 hours a week. I love that philosophy and wish there were more donors to colleges so students could receive that gift.

I have lived here for 20 years and have still not been to Boone Tavern despite all the wonderful things I've heard about it. Shame on me!
