Wednesday, March 31st in NYC

An early morning visit to the NASDAQ television studio for the opening of the Market.
AJ is joined by Kelsey and Kurtis, children of GJ's co-worker, who were on spring break, too.
How many times did we go to Toys R Us at Times Square before AJ made his selection for a purchase?  At least four trips!  Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on the way you look at it,
Toys R Us was just a block from our hotel.  The big bag in the photo holds  toys for the grandchildren at home, too.

The rain stopped and Wednesday was a good day to visit the Empire State Building.
(A little advice, splurge and pay for the express tickets if the lines are hours long.  We did, and cut out hours of waiting on the way up and on the way down.)

Our Afternoon Tea was next, but that will be featured in tomorrow's post.

We attended The Addams Family, a new musical comedy, starring Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth.  It was a great show!  AJ and GJ laughed themselves silly. Both liked it so much they want to see it again!  I loved it, too!  It is a winner with Nathan Lane as Gomez,  Bebe Neuwirth as Morticia and a very talented cast.

Oh my goodness!  Have you ever seen a one pound chicken salad sandwich?  We stopped at the Roxy Deli on Times Square for a late night supper after the show.  The guys burgers were huge, too.
Our last night at Times Square.

Coming in the next post... our afternoon tea experience.

How fun! And that sandwich is huge! Did you eat it all? That would feed me lunches for a week, but looks so very good. The play sounds fun too! I would love it, I am sure. Laughing is a good thing!

I agree with the comments about the chicken salad sandwich. It was way too much and I left more than 1/2 on my plate. A lot of customers asked for "to go" boxes.
