Miniature Tea Sets

My friend, Cristina, gave me this 4-foot tall curio cabinet she found at bargain price.  I decided it would be perfect to display some of my miniature and children's tea sets in my "tea room."
Note: The mirror in the back made photography a little difficult because you can see the table across the room, but if you double click on the photos, you can see the tea sets.

Hi Linda!

How adorable! OMGOodnes! I have that exact teapot on top...it was my grandmother's and I display it because I'm afraid I would break it. Of course, she would say, "how silly! If you love it, enjoy it & if you break it, cherish the memories." And even though she lived into her late 80's...she would always say, "life is too short to drink tea out of anything but a tea cup". How true!! She was Irish. :)

Hope you have a wonderful Memorial day weekend!

Hugs, Sheri

Those are so sweet. What a good friend you have to buy the cabinet for you. Good friends are the best!!

What a lovely setting for such dear tea sets! I do love the smallness of them, and the connotation of Doll Tea with little children.

That's a wonderful addition to your charming Tea Room, and I'm looking forward to seeing it all---every corner and table and light that you'd care to share.

Hi Linda - found your blog via Marilyn at delights of the heart - I love tea too and have posted a few time on it! I will follow your blog now, as it appeals to my tea and cake instincts - and I hope you follow/visit mine! You might find something you like there. I love the cabinet and your lovely teasets. I have some fine bone china cups/saucers from my mother's wedding present in 1954 which I treasure. She passed away this year at 94 RIP. It's great to see how tea is uniting the blogosphere!
All the best, Catherine
