"The Perfect Afternoon Tea Book"

"The Perfect Afternoon Tea Book" by Antony Wild and Simona Hill
is "A Feast of Cakes, Biscuits and Pastries, Illustrated with 270 Photographs"

The "perfect afternoon tea" is something most of us tea lovers are on a quest to find.

This beautiful book includes and introduction to tea, a discussion of different types of tea, an explanation of the etiquette of afternoon tea, and provides a collection of 70 traditional English tea time recipes with step-by-step instructions and photos for: Savory Treats; Teabreads and Pastries; Cookies and Bars; and Cakes and Jellies.

This is another recent addtion to my tea library purchased from Amazon.com.

I have an old edition of that book (at least I think it's the same book), and it contains the *only* Madeleine recipe that has ever worked for me! Is it in the new book as well? I love the cover!

That looks like a wonderful tea book that I need to add to my collection. Doesn't that Iced Victoria Spongecake look fabulous?

I think I'd like to join you for tea and look through all these wonderful books you keep posting about!
I found an excellent Madeleine recipe after some looking and will want to compare it to the one in the book.

I haven't heard of either of these books. There are so many books on tea and tea parties now, I can't keep up. This one look tempting.
