This is a Gibson's Staffordshire Enland teapot.
It has taken me a bit to "warm up" to it's shape, because it is not the typical traditional round teapot shape I tend to collect. This peach and floral pattern is an Art Deco rectangle teapot.
Mary spotted it in an antique shop and brought it to me.

It's beautiful, and I think its unusual shape is what makes it so.
Enjoy!!
Have a lovely day,
Patti
It is very different from one's minds-eye of a tea pot....but differences are what keeps life interesting!
Art deco is one period I just love. Love this teapot.
I like it so antique looking.

Oh wow, I just adore this teapot! The shape, the colors, the design ... so very British!
I love the shape! I usually collect the round shapes too. Hope you have a blessed weekend!
Hugs,
Sheri
Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm not typically into Art Deco, but I admit this teapot is "growing" on me.
am going to be 'touring' Berea this coming Monday and Tuesday; my 'default mail' is not properly installed so I can' directly contact you...and I am so imept the computer I'm not sure what do about the default mail stuff :-( So, is there ANYWAY we can hook up so I can meet you and/or have a cuppa somewhere in Berea? I will be staying at the Fairfield Inn right off the interstate...just wondering, since I've been reading your blog for a while; it would be fun to see a real person's face :-)
