National Cream Tea Week is an initiative launched by the RABI (Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution). Click here for the link to the official National Cream Tea Week page.
These are a few photos of one of the many cream teas we enjoyed on our 2008 trip to Britain.
I would love to be there this week for the Cream Tea Celebration.
In the above photos, Rodda's Cornish Clotted Cream, only available in the UK.

Oooh, I could take a break right now and have some clotted cream with scones that I have in the freezer. Not as good as fresh, but as I am alone, I do keep some for later! Thanks for sharing-and I could pack right now and we could both go for tea in GB! ♥♫
Linda,
You always have the best looking food (and tea) on your blog. I never log off without my tummy protesting.
Clotted cream is heavenly!
I didn't know about National Cream Tea Week. Thanks for the links.
This is a holiday I've never heard of, but I quite approve!!
I SO look forward to all your adventures, especially when teacups are involved.
Hello, just to say I have really enjoyed your site for a while now and when I was originally researching afternoon tea sites over a year ago, I was amazed by the USA following. You will be glad to know that a friend of mine has reopened her tearooms in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire so there are more for you to come back to! I particularly like the photographs of your research. Best wishes Pauline
Linda, I loved looking at the photos of you in front of the cream tea shops in England. What a delight.I can just imagine myself there.I would love to go to England and Ireland's country side to do just what you did. What a dream.
