This is where I have been for the last week.
My chair, on the left, is where I sat to read my book and people watch.
During the week. I drank my share of iced tea in temperatures of 95 to 100 degrees.
The boys were a little more active than I was.
AJ caught a few sea bass while deep sea fishing off the coast of Hilton Head Island, SC.
Now it's time for a little night time shark fishing.
AJ looks really serious about wanting to catch a shark.
And, this is how you hold a shark.
After all the photos have been taken, the shark is tossed back in the ocean.

Oh, Linda, I'm envious!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ocean, and I'm going into ocean withdrawals. I haven't been there since I went to the Oregon coast in 2008. And two years away from the beach is a very long time for this gal who used to go a couple times a week because she was only 30 minutes away.
AJ looks like he got quite the sunburned cheeks. I'll bet they're nice and tan now.
I'm glad you had a nice time.
Hugs,
Patti
What a wonderful, relaxing vacation, with the sound of the ocean to soothe away all the cares.
Your AJ is quite the young man---just since I've been coming here, he's grown into a mature handsome young fellow. I know they had a grand time---a deep-sea fishing trip weekend to Pensacola was what DD#2 requested for High School graduation, and they had a blast.
AJ is sure growing up. Looks like lots of fun.

Wow, can't believe AJ caught a shark!
Looks like you had a wonderful week at the beach. AJ sure has a lot of great memories to last him until the next summer vacation. ;-)
My two grandsons started back to school yesterday - yipee.
I would have loved fishing with the boys.
