There is always room in my house for another teapot.
This pretty 6-cup teapot is marked Lamberton Ivory China made in America "Doris".
Notice the flat design on the top of the handle? It's just perfect for resting your thumb, therefore, making it easier to carry a full pot of tea.
Through online research, I learned Lamberton Ivory China is restaurant-quality dinnerware made by the Sterling China Company of East Liverpool and Wellsville, Ohio.
"Doris" was one of several Lamberton patterns.

That is a lovely American made teapot and I like the thumb rest too. The floral pattern is very pretty.
