The Ranch House

This is the Ranch House at the Cataloochee Guest Ranch.  There are a few guest rooms here, but we stayed in one of the eleven rustic, but very comfortable, cabins.

The Ranch House is where meals are served.  Dinner is served at 7:00 p.m.as either a cookout buffet or a family-style meal.  You can double-click on the menus above.
The schedule of activities is posted in the office/gift shop.
AJ and KJ enjoyed meeting new friends from Alabama.
The table is set and ready for Monday night's dinner.
Alice rings the dinner bell and tells us what is being served.
Snacks during the social hour before dinner.

Alice arranges wildflowers for the tables in special flower frogs made by her husband Tom John.
A full family-style country breakfast was served every morning,
starting at 8:00 a.m.,my favorite meal of the day.
And, best of all,  my solitary pot of tea each morning.
Can you see the fog through the windows and feel the cool, crisp mountain air?
Oh, what a perfect location for  fall break!

Looks like a beautiful place!! And I love that you still had a lovely pot of tea every morning.

Did you get alot of leaf color on your visit? Hope so...I hear there's nothing like fall in the Smoky Mountains (I was only there in the summer, so I've never experienced it.)

Blessings,
Patti

I just returned from the Smokey Mountains! The colors are so beautiful already. I am surprised our leaves are turning too. Beautiful part of the country for sure! :)
