Tea Time With Berea Health Ministry — Sereni-TEA by the Sea

The Third Annual Tea Time With Berea Health Ministry was held on Saturday, October 22.  This is a host-decorated table event.  Each table is decorated to the theme each table host's choice.
Sereni-TEA by the Sea was my table sponsored by Delta Natural Gas.

Each hostess/sponsor purchased a table for six guests for $125.  I set my table for seven to accommodate our volunteer kitchen workers and servers. (Therefore the "generic" names on the place cards.)
My center piece is a clear glass teapot filled with a variety of seashells.  (Unfortunately, in the photo above, you can see my water pitcher sitting behind the center piece.  If you double click on the bottom photo, you might get a better view)
I used my Royal Worcester Francesca china and navy napkins with a 120-inch navy table cloth (my ocean/sea) and a 90-inch table cloth over it (my beach).  The shell napkin rings above are Christmas tree ornaments I found at The Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge, TN.
The hats on the chairs are inexpensive hats from Oriental Trading Company.  I purchased ribbon to match the shell napkin rings to put bows and ribbon trim on the hats.
I provided favors for all the guests attending, two individually wrapped Harney and Sons tea sachets in an organza bag.
In addition, many of the table hosts provided their own favors for their table guests.  I gave each of the ladies sitting at my table a little book of tea devotions, "Woman of God® Moments of Grace" in an organza bag.  The favors, a program, a door prize form, a BHM donation envelope and a pen were in each guest's seat.

Due to an electrical problem in the kitchen, which required my attention, I was  unable to take as many photos I have in the past. However, with the help of a friend's photos,  I will post photos of all 21 tables and a few behind the scenes photos.

We had a wide variety of fun and elegant table themes!
I hope you enjoy!

Your Sereni-TEA by the Sea table is wonderful. I love the centerpiece topped with the shell filled teapot and the shell encircled placemats. What a great job you did.
