It's A Snow Day!

No school today because of snow!
We had 4 to 5 inches of snow with drifts up to 2 feet.
Tonight's low is predicted to be 8 degrees.
That's very unusual for Kentucky weather before Christmas, compared to recent years.
Schools are closed all across Kentucky.  AJ and I are enjoying a day inside.

A perfect day for a pot of tea. The snow is so pretty, enjoy! I love it for a few days, but then it does interfere after a while with life. I hope you just have the right amount to not interfere.

We are getting snow, too. It's so pretty but nasty to get out in. Enjoy your tea and perhaps a good book.

It is odd to have a snow day before Christmas. Your ceramic centerpiece is gorgeous!!!!

Here in Idaho, we have been having January weather since the week of Thanksgiving. And December 1st we got nailed with about 7 inches of snow...our schools were closed that day...quite early in the season. WAY too cold for this Florida-blooded gal.

On the Kentucky note, my MIL called this morning to tell me that my FIL is stuck in Lexington right now. He had made a trip up to Kentucky to help my sister-in-law and her husband with some things on their Ashland house, and because of all the snow, he can't get back to Florida right now.

Enjoy your day with AJ...indoors!!

Love,
Patti

This is pretty much taking the edge off my desire for a white Christmas. :(

You must be getting the snow that should be here in Colorado. I'd love to have a few snow days this week. However, our high for tomorrow is around 60 degrees! ♥♫

Yes, we are having unusual weather here in GA too. It is only 14 degrees this morning, but no snow on the ground.

That is a pretty Christmas tree decorating your "table with a view".
