A Magazine to Keep

The January/February issue of Tea Time Magazine arrived in my mailbox yesterday.  


Among the nice articles and lovely photos, is a feature about a valentine tea with step-by-step instructions on how to create some of the food items, including how to make the strawberry baby cakes on the front cover. 

Although I haven't always agreed with the "technical tea information" in every issue, the publication has improved in that area over the years. 

I have subscribed to Tea Time since the beginning and I keep every issue handy for tea party and menu ideas and inspiration. 

If you are a tea lover, I suggest you pick up and copy and enjoy!

I think I'll subscribe very soon---I love looking at other people's parties, and creating some of our own, as well.

But now, if not for your blog and all the lovely list of "tea" people on your sidebar, thus leading to more of the same through theirs, it would be hard to find such congenial company and lovely events.

Even Googling "Tea Party" these days gives you one pretty table to every ten political comments.

I subscripbed to this magazine after seeing on your blog. I have only received the Nov/Dec 2010 issue so far but it is well worth the price. Looking forward to my next one in the mail.

I haven't had a chance to read mine yet but hopefully this week. Ibaked all day Friday for an event at my store today- now I am glad that is done - time to read the new issue!

Nice! I can't remember if I still get this magazine or not. Mine usually is later than the east coast, so I will be watching.

I got mine in the mail too and I agree, those are lovely little cakes on the cover. I am thinking their construction could be applied to some types of tea sandwiches as well!
