Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe

We had a few peaches left over from our trip to South Carolina so I made the boys favorite peach cobbler.  As you can see in the bottom photo, they like to eat their peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream.

Easy Peach Cobbler

1 stick butter
1 large can sliced peaches with syrup (I used 4 cups juicy ripe sliced peaches, peeled)
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix flour and sugar, then add milk and vanilla.
Melt butter in oblong baking dish.
Pour flour mixture into dish over melted butter. Do not stir.
Pour peaches over this.  Again do not stir.
Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.  (about 45 minutes)

Vintage Royal Tuscan Teacup and Saucer

This is the last of the four teacups I purchased on my trip to Canton, Ohio with Mary.
It is marked Tuscan Fine English Bone China C8535.
I paid $13 for this teacup and saucer.  It was the most expensive of the four.  I was very pleased to walk out of Avenue Antiques with four vintage English teacups for less than $40.

Today, I am joining Miss Spenser's Blog for Teacup Thursday.
