# 1 daughter, Melissa, visited this weekend. While she was here, we decided on our table theme for the 2010 Third Annual Tea Time with Berea Health Ministry. Our theme is a secret and I can't announce it yet. But, I will tell you this much...we plan to use her Lenox wedding china in the photo above.
The photos above are our decorated tables in 2008 and 2009. Last year I decorated two tables, made 200 scones, made and served 450 cups of tea.
This year, due to a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder and upcoming surgery, I am forced to reduce the amount of work I can do on the tea, especially table decorating, which requires carrying all the tableware and decorations. I am, however, chairing the event with the help of my life-long friend, Patty. The menu is planned, volunteers have committed to make the foods and details shaping up for the event scheduled for October 23, 2010. The committee has assured me they will make the tea and carry-out assignments under my supervision.
Tea Time with Berea Health Ministry is a very special event we all look forward to each October.
