Teacup Thursday — A Vintage Royal Standard Teacup (2929)

This pretty teacup is a vintage Royal Standard.
It is white with pink roses and gray and green leaves and a gold trim.
It is marked Fine Bone China England #2929.
Mary purchased this teacup and saucer for $13 at a shop in Florida.
I appreciate Mary for thinking of me!

What a lovely find, and how equally nice to have such "Personal Shoppers" around to keep an eye out for the lovelies!

And roses---I do love roses on china, and am fascinated by the tradition of putting roses on tea items---what a wonderful tradition and story.

What an elegant set! That crown backstamp is definitely appropriate for such a regal looking cup and saucer!

A very pretty teacup. I love the shape and can just imagine drinking tea with the very pretty pink flowers.
