Valentine Teacup Trade

I participated in a Valentine TeaCup Trade by Sharon at  Faith, Hope, and Cherrytea

I received this beautiful Royal Dover English bone china teacup
from my TeaCup Trade partner, Marilyn P. in Washington.
Yellow is my favorite of all roses!  This beautiful yellow rose teacup is perfect!

Marilyn also included the delightful book,
The Twelve Teas of Friendship
by one of my favorite inspirational authors, Emilie Barnes.

Also included was a  package of  Northwest Blackberry herbal tea, a lovely handkerchief, a pretty card, and a refrigerator magnet of Elenor Roosevelt's quote "A woman is like a teabag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water" from the Attic Secrets Tea Room where Marilyn and a friend visited in preparation of this special gift-giving event.
Marilyn, I am overwhelmed by your generosity!
Thank you so much for the yellow rose pattern teacup and the lovely gifts.
My very special Aunt Ida, who started me on my teacup collecting journey, was never without a pretty hankie.
The book, The Twelve Teas of Friendship is perfect for my blog "Friendship Tea" and for the friendships developed through blogging and this Valentine TeaCup Trade
This has been so much fun!

Marilyn does not have a blog.  I will post my gift to her after she receives it.

Thank you Sharon at Faith, Hope, and Cherrytea

I think that Yellow Rose teacup is rarely see them.
Okay! I want someone to do a "St. Patrick's Day" tea cup exchange...think about it...Greens and Shamrocks, and Bone China! It would be soooo pretty and fun. So many possibilities.
I'll get invovled if someone heads it up! HA!

Hello Linda
Your teacup partner was very generous indeed. You received many lovely things and I hope you enjoy a pleasant cup of tea in your new yellow rose cup.
My partner doesn't have a blog either, so I'll have to post for her as well.

What a lovely gift and fun exchange. Wish I had time to participate, but too swamped right now. Yellow roses are my favorite, in fact they were in my bridal bouquet many years ago.
