Valentine's Week Rose Teacups

In celebration of Valentine's week, I will feature some of my rose pattern tea cups.

This vintage teacup is a Royal Standard Orleans Rose.
This was Aunt Ida's teacup, and was the first in my collection "rose" teacups.
The cup and saucer are trimmed with gold and the cup has a small foot.
Anyone who has been reading my blog for a while knows Aunt Ida, my dad's sister, was very special to my family.
We have many memories of fun times with her.

I hope you take time to enjoy a nice cup of tea today as you celebrate today.
Happy Valentine's Day!

What a great photo to kick off this week! And I love knowing which of the cups in your rose collection began with Aunt Ida. I will *love* these posts. Happy Valentine's Day!

Your rose teacups are all pretty, especially the special Orleans Rose from Aunt Ida. My Aunt Betty (my Mom's sister) was very special to me. She was the glue that held the family together and I really miss her.

This will be a fun week getting to see your rose teacups!
I loved reading your aunt's writings of her trip.

Happy Valentines Day To all!
