Diana China Rose Teacup

I purchased this special commemorative teacup and saucer at Althorp,
the ancestral Spencer Estate in England several years ago.

"The design uses a hand painted rose with a platinum design on a pink pearl finish background. It is hand finished in platinum and is made from English Bone China. The Tea Cup and saucer is made in England exclusively for Althorp."

I remember watching the wedding of Diana and Charles in 1981.
I look forward to watching the wedding of William and Kate on Friday.
I will enjoy a cup of Harney Queen Catherine Tea from this special teacup.

I have that same teacup (purchased at the Diana exhibit in Atlanta, not Althorp, alas!), so I'll be drinking Royal Wedding Blend out of it on Friday. Glad to know you'll be watching too! Can't wait to hear everyone's comments after the wedding!

What a special way to enjoy watching THE wedding on Friday. I had not thought of having tea while I watch but that is a good idea. Thanks for reminding me that tea should be part of every day not just for wintertime. I am so bad.
