Celebrating with Girlfriends

Paula, Barb, Linda, Ticky and Patty (back)
The "old girlfriends" traveled to Pigeon Forge, TN to celebrate our 60th birthday year.
We began these gatherings 10 years ago during our 50th birthday year.
We all grew up in the small town of Berea, KY and all but one attended 1st - 12th grades in the same school system.
Barb, joined us in
We all moved away,  some of us moved back, and two live in Ohio.
Lunch at the Wild Plum Tree Tea Room
Everyone has to enjoy the tea room's garden!

The view from our balcony.

Three of the gals went Zip Lining,
 while two of us shopped
and lunched at The Christmas Place.
Breakfast at The Old Mill and dinner at the Applewood Farmhouse are a must!
Jennifer, who couldn't go this year, joined the gals for a quick visit, upon return to Berea.

It looks like you all had a lot of fun! I have a couple of college friends that meet me every couple of years for a summer weekend getaway and we always have a blast! I wanted to let you know your package was mailed today, so it should arrive by midweek.

That is so nice that you get together every year and have fun!
I'll reach that magic number next year and should start getting a seniors discount in some stores here. Yippee.
