Sightseeing in LA

AJ loved the interactive music exhibits at the Grammy Museum
It is just around the corner from our hotel.

A mini-bus LA City Tour on Sunday took us to all the highlights
Marina Del Ray, above
Venice Beach, below
A stop at the Mexican Market and Union Station
On to Hollywood.
What a fun place!
Grauman's Chinese Theater

John Wayne's boot prints at Grauman's Chinese Theater
You never know who you might see in Hollywood (above)

The famous HOLLYWOOD sign

"Shopping" on Rodeo Drive

And, back to LA Live

I was just sorry Monday night was spent in the emergency room of a downtown LA hospital after my fall.
We had 2 more fun days in LA scheduled,
but, it was good to be able to come home and see my own orthopedic doctor for my broken shoulder.

LA was a fun place to visit.  We have many happy memories of our trip!!

Yes, it is a fun place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there ever again. Too many people.

What a fun visit -- well, prior to the fall, anyway! You definitely hit some of the highlights I would have wanted to see. I'm so glad you always travel with a camera in hand ...

By the way, I recently read that John Wayne was known to dine in the tea room at Bullocks Wilshire department store in L.A. Who knew!!!
