Signs of Tea

One of the things I do when traveling in England is to take photos of signs advertising tea.
This is The Old Tea House in Winchombe.

I have been scanning pre-digital camera photos of English tea memories.
I will be sharing a few here and there....

Your visits to England are so amazing! What a joy to get to take your grandson with you too! I love tea...love to brew a "proper pot" with loose tea. Your blog is fun. Hope you will come by and see mine as well. Take care!

You have me thinking about scanning as well. I also collected funny pub names...just ate at the tearooms...thought they were life! Thanks so much for your post.

Love seeing that first sign on the teapot. Not too long ago I saw something similar in a shop and still kick myself for not buying it.

Love your tea signs! I passed up a hanging tea sign years ago.... and so wish I had it now!

Such interesting signs. I like signs, too. Saw one the other day (in some extreme heat) that had the word HOT and an arrow pointing toward the street.... and a word COLD with the arrow pointing toward the inside of a store. Tempting to get Cold inside on a day like that was.

That is a great sign! In fact, I'd love to have one just like it for my own teatimes! Look forward to seeing what other scans you have to share with us.
