Time For Tea

Don't you just love to receive surprises in the mail?
I do!
This lovely book was sent to me by Latane at Living Life on Main Street Blog
Thank you, Latane!
Latane saw this in a book store while she was traveling, and thought of me.
Thank you, Latane.  It was so thoughtful of you to send this lovely book to me.
The book isTime for Tea, Tea and Conversation with Thrirteen English Women.
It's a lovely book of stories of the tea time traditions of English women from ages six to eighty of various backgrounds.
They also share favorite family tea time recipes.
And, there are lovely photographs of the English countryside and a peek inside several homes.

It is always fun to find a tea set I own in a book or magazine. (in the 2 photos above)
This is a Duchess June Bouquet tea set I purchased in Stratford in 2008 on one of our trips to England.

What a lovely gift. "Just because" gifts are about the nicest gifts of all, and when they are tea-related, they're even better. Besides, can one ever have too many tea books? I think not.

Have a great day,
Patti

What a great gift! And I know I've seen that book before, but now I can't remember if I actually own it or not. Must investigate!
