Wedding China and Memories

We visited the #1 daughter, Melissa, and SIL this weekend.
Their wedding china is Lenox Maywood.
The wedding was 13 years ago.
As it usually goes with wedding china and young couples,
I could probably count the number of times it has been used on one hand.

The wedding cake topper of sugar flowers is beautifully displayed with the china.
Looking at the cake topper brings back wonderful memories of a beautiful family event.

Hi Linda,

I think young people forget the times when it is often appropriate to break out the good china and have a few laughs over it. I am a young person myself with a very nice golden wheat pattern and forget to take it out. At least its displayed lovely!

I bet it was a beautiful wedding. I love things like weddings and Christmas and days that are special.

It's funny but younger women don't often use china anymore. My daughter uses it only because when she got a divorce her ex took the everyday dishes and she was left with her grandmothers china. When my aunt wanted to give her china to her grand daughters none of them wanted it, so she gave it to me. Now what do I do with 3 sets of china? Love the basic white, which is what I have from my wedding. It goes with so many different looks and decorations.

Wow, those sugar flowers are gorgeous! Very pretty with the china, too. (Maybe she wouldn't miss it if you tucked a few pieces in your purse on the way out?)
