Trout Fishing at the Cataloochee Ranch

The pond at the Cataloochee Ranch is stocked with mountain trout.
The family brought their own fishing gear and bait.
After fishing last October and catching nothing, they were determined this time!

It's a big one!  GJ had to get the net out to help AJ.

This one is too large for the net!

Wow!  It measured 6 1/2 pounds and 21 inches!

KJ's measured 3 1/2 pounds and 19 inches

And the 3rd one measured 2 pounds and 17 inches
Yes, we ate the first two for lunch on Monday.

 Richard helped serve the trout.
There are many bones in a whole trout.
AJ ate carefully.

What special memories for our children!
