Oh, I have to share something neat with you! I have the Royal Tara teapot. My Mom has the Royal Tara cake plate. The reason we have these two pieces is because we went to Ireland in 1986 and had ten glorious days there. I spent a ton of money on Christmas gifts for my whole family there, since we went in October, and that seemed like the perfect idea. I also wanted to surprise Mom with a gift to thank her for taking me on this most wonderful trip, so while in a shop, we separated for a while and I took advantage of that time to buy the cake plate and ask for it to be shipped directly to my home. Then I moved on to a jewelry counter and was picking out a ring for my daughter. Little did I know Mom also made it to the china section and ordered the matching teapot for me and had it shipped directly to her house. Christmas morning was a hoot, since neither of us knew about the other one's purchase. And, we had both chosen the same pattern!

Adorable collection of shamrock tea ware. I have a picture frame that looks like it would match the set. It has little shamrocks around a white glass picture frame.
