Memories of Afternoon Tea at The Lanesborough

The May/June 2012 issue of Tea Time Magazine
has an article by Lisa Boalt Richardson
about afternoon tea at The Lanesborough in London.
This summer, the hotel will offer a special Olympic-themed afternoon tea.
The two-page article brought back pleasant memories of the Lanesborough tea experience,
with participants of the Tea in London 2007 Tour.
Do you recognize several of our favorite tea bloggers in the photo above?

Hey Linda,
I just got a WEIRD letter from your email (TeatimeGrandma2) asking for help and money because you are trapped in Spain and have been robbed.
Odd....thought I should warn you about this and didn't want to write you back at that address. They even signed your name..."Linda"
I'm going to see if I have another email address for you and try to contact you that way.
Be blessed, Joyce

I do recognize several here. How fun to have a tearoom in the magazine that you have enjoyed in the past.

I see you, Steph and Phyllis ... and is that Nancy at the far end? And Denise L., the former tea blogger? Fun!

What wonderful memories that photo evokes! Wouldn't it be fun to have a reunion back in England?

Forgot to mention... Lori B. found a teacup identical to those used at the Lanesboro last summer while we were antiquing. She was thrilled! She fell in love with the pattern and wanted to buy one while we were in England but was unable to do so.
