Vintage Regency Teacup

I found this pretty English Bone China vintage Regency teacup and saucer
at a consignment store in Lexington for $5. I quickly purchased it.
After returning home, I was pleased to find it online for $19 + shipping.
Don't you just love to find bargain English teacups?
The cup has a slight foot, features gilt trim on the rim, handle and foot.
It has pretty sprays of violets and leaves on the cup and saucer.
I have many teacups with roses, but can count my violets teacups on one hand (4).
What a nice addition to my collection!

How charming! I was about to chime in that I have the small teapot, about a two-cup little dainty, but I see that it's Hammersley, with a little crown, oak branch and acorn on the seal.

Sweetpea had her cocoa out of it when we got back from a long chilly walk yesterday, and has done for about the past year. She's mastered the one-finger-on-the-knob-while-you-pour, and is very careful with it.

Oh, I have one of those and I know it was one of those "bargains". I have 4 violet cups that don't match and a sugar and creamer, now I need a pot!
Happy hunting to you.
