A Visit to Washington, DC

I know it seems that our family travels all the time from posts on this blog.
We really don't, but GJ, the hubby, travels frequently on business.
We just returned home today
from tagging along with him on a three-night trip to Washington, DC.
Saturday morning began with an Irish Breakfast at the Dubliner Pub
in the Phoenix Park Hotel on Capitol Hill.
Breakfast included delicious Irish Soda Bread and a cuppa strong Irish tea.

A busy day of touring included the National Museum of Crime and Punishment
This museum was fun for kids of all ages!

Next we stopped at the American Art Museum and the American Portrait Gallery.
After a late lunch we toured the Capitol.

We really packed it in on Saturday.  More to come in the next post...

I am always amazed at how much territory you cover on your trips. (Of course as I am learning, you are one terrific travel planner!)
